Kriss Childress, RDH
Kriss is a Registered Dental Hygienist and the owner of Down To Earth Dental. He was born and raised in Pueblo and comes from a "dental" family. His father, Frank Childress, is a retired dentist who served the Pueblo community for over 35 years. His mother worked as his office manager. Kriss’s brother, Ken, is also a dentist.
Kriss’s business philosophy is that he and his staff should make your visit to Down To Earth Dentist a good experience every time, whether it’s for a root canal or just a routine cleaning and exam. To accomplish this, Kriss insists on up-to-date technology, excellent customer service, flexible dental plans, and reasonable pricing, so that you know you're a valuable member of the Down To Earth Dental family.
Kriss received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School and worked in Kansas City for 8 years. He and his family returned to Pueblo to be closer to family and to open his own dental practice.
Before moving to Kansas City, Kriss spent 4 years in the military and then went to the University of Southern Colorado (now CSU-Pueblo) and Pueblo Community College and where he received his Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. He worked in Colorado Springs for 2 years where he met his wife, Sandy.
Kriss's outside interests are being a dad, camping, hiking, watching sports, and motorcycles. He is also an FAA-licensed pilot.
